We have a lot of guys that do self-swaps, it would be great if they could submit a request in RosterApps to be approved. When working with vacation and shift bids, just have the groups seniority within the station.

RosterApps is building out the capability to have vacation days in a future enhancement which is called Enhanced Vacation Bidding, to have days or weeks wait listed. Which means if their ideal vacation time off becomes available after the initial vacation bidding process has occurred. Then the employee with the highest seniority rank would be offered to receive that day/week as vacation time off.
Also, in Enhanced Vacation Bidding there will also be a new capability to have employee's exchange a day or week for another more ideal day or week if a higher ranking employee turns back in that vacation time off into the system.
We will also consider how to incorporate your enhancement idea regarding swapping shift bid lines with other employees after shift bidding has been conducted.

Tammy is asking about self swap with ones day off not the whole shift bid line. The self swaps would be within the 2 week pay period.
Agree! It seems almost every bid we have people swapping lines and it's a whole convoluted process to do it.
