During emergency/storm responses it would be beneficial to have the ability to have a non-user/service account to allow the viewing of dashboards without having to constantly log back in to allow dashboards to be shown in a yard or a command room.

Hi Cameron, I've checked with a few sources and it appears that circumventing the auto log off would be a security issue. However, I'm aware that other customers are running Crew Manager on large screen monitors in common areas, but not sure on how they address the log off/on issue. I'll post additional details as I learn more.

I was thinking about this some more, you might be able to solve this or create a reasonable work around with SSO. If you were to setup your large screens with Service accounts that did not have permissions except for limited web browsing, and you created an ARCOS user with the same service account name as the WebID then any time the page was reloaded it would log in and you wouldn't need to remember or type in a password. you could make it even easier and put a script in to automatically log into ARCOS on startup, set the account to automatically go into Crew Manager and load the default perspective, and then make it a read only account so that even if someone gained access to the system driving the screen they would not be abler to make any changes to the underlying data.
